Rooster Ornament

Add a piece of Christmas Eve folklore to your seasonal decorations with this rooster ornament. Its story connects a familiar bird with the midnight celebration known as the “Mass of the Rooster.”
According to legend, the rooster crowed only once at midnight, announcing the birth of the Baby Jesus. In Spanish and Latin American countries, this is why Christmas Eve midnight mass is called “Misa del Gallo,” or “Mass of the Rooster.”
Display it as a conversation-starting detail in your Christmas décor, or give it to someone who enjoys meaningful holiday traditions.
